PayPulse (“we”, “our”, or “us”) helps you track recurring subscriptions and spending. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: email address, optional display name, and authentication credentials managed by our auth provider (Supabase).
- Subscription data you enter: service name, amount, currency, billing cycle, category, and billing dates.
- Device / technical data: basic app diagnostics that may be collected by the operating system or Expo services when you use the app.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide and sync your subscription list across your devices
- Show spending summaries, renewals, and analytics inside the app
- Authenticate your account and secure your data
- Improve reliability and fix bugs
3. Data Storage & Processors
Account and subscription data are stored using Supabase (authentication and database). Access is restricted with row-level security so you can only access your own data.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with service providers needed to operate PayPulse (for example, Supabase), or when required by law.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and subscription data while your account is active. If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize associated data within a reasonable period, subject to legal requirements.
6. Your Rights
- Access or update your profile and subscription data in the app
- Sign out at any time from Settings
- Request account or data deletion by emailing paypulseapp@gmail.com
7. Children’s Privacy
PayPulse is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards such as encrypted transport (HTTPS) and authenticated access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above will be revised when changes are published.
